Onychomycosis is a fungal infection that affects the nails; It causes them to turn yellow, dark and thicken, negatively impacting the emotional and social state of the presenter. With oral and topical treatment the results in most cases are very slow and it is difficult to achieve success.
The sessions last only a few minutes, 6 to 9 sessions are required with intervals of 4 to 6 weeks. The results are visible from the beginning of treatment.
To avoid onychomycosis it is very important to properly disinfect the floor of collective showers and avoid water stagnation. On an individual level, avoid shoes without ventilation and have good hygiene in the feet and hands.
