We live in a society where perfection is sought in body, face, and lifestyle, while at the same time there is a push for natural beauty and self-acceptance, just as we are. These visions, which might seem opposite, actually complement one another.
Social media and influencers have fueled the growing demand for aesthetic procedures. However, the easy access to information has also led to misconceptions, fear, and prejudice—challenges that aesthetic physicians, surgeons, and dermatologists face daily.
Personal development works holistically: emotionally, mentally, physically, and visually. The human brain is highly visual—what it perceives in the first few seconds leads to judgments, even with little information. Appearance, verbal and body expression create labels that help make quick decisions. This is why how we look matters—not superficially, but as part of personal evolution.
If you look good, others perceive you as trustworthy.
How is this achieved?
Our face has certain proportions. Facial harmonization evaluates and balances these proportions, enhancing natural beauty while respecting individual features.
The face is divided into three equal thirds:
-
From hairline to eyebrows.
-
From eyebrows to the base of the nose.
-
From nose to chin.
Ideally, these thirds measure about the same (6–7 cm). Points of projection, nose angles, and eye distance are also assessed. These proportions are measured with a caliper for precision. Beauty, therefore, is reproducible when rules of proportion, symmetry, and balance are applied.
Ultimately, beauty is both what you see and what you feel. Each person’s uniqueness makes them special, and beauty has an undeniable impact on self-perception and social interaction.
Testimonials
Testimonial – Dr. Montiel:
“My first patient was a relative of my aunt. I performed a non-surgical rhinoplasty. I had just opened my practice and was promoting it online. She was the first to contact me, and we scheduled her appointment. I felt excited and nervous, eager to deliver great results.
What stood out the most was the immediacy of the procedure: visible results, affordable cost, and no downtime, only minimal aftercare.
The impact was significant—both in her appearance and self-esteem. I believe it’s essential to embrace our unique features while still being open to enhancing aspects that help us look and feel better.”
Testimonial – Valeria:
“I began studying medicine when my grandfather fell gravely ill. I noticed the lack of empathy and negligent care from some doctors—it had become almost a trend to practice medicine without true passion. That deeply bothered me.
My grandmother decided to bring him home with two nurses, and I moved in to help care for him. During that time, I discovered the beauty and nobility of medicine: seeing people practice it with genuine care.
It is extremely rewarding to witness patients recovering and regaining their well-being.”
